The Estates Edition is for larger cemeteries,
where a computer network exists, and there is a need for several
personnel to access the data at the same time. Security levels
are built into the Estates Edition, so that the 'Supervisor' can
assign access levels for up to six different groups of users. This
allows one group of personnel to do searches to answer inquiries,
but not to access financial information. Another group could do
sales, but not change prices or access account information. The
Estates Edition provides space for multiple addresses for customers
and next-of-kin, along with annual dates the addresses are effective.
This, along with the ability to store alternative contacts, allows
for the creation of effective mailing lists, which can be easily
exported to your word processor. Sales functionality has been expanded
in the Estates Edition, to include managing pre-need sales, 'consuming'
them at the time of use. It also manages refunds, credits, and
tax exemptions with appropriate comments to your accounting package.
The Estates includes a working Kiosk and has portable mapping
and sales functionality to enable out-of-office use for the Pocket
PC. The Estates
Edition has all the features of the Manor Edition of Stone Orchard,
and is fully designed to run on Windows networks as well!
The Estates Edition manages the complete life cycle of cemetery
records, with no limits on the numbers of cemeteries, interment
sites, interments or any other information
